Anisotropy of biological piezoelectricity in flexor tendonBiomedical sensing
Piezoelectric imaging and anisotropy of flexor tendon. BW: Echo B-mode, Green: Piezoelectric image (ASEM image). By utilizing the directivity of the antenna, it is found that piezoelectric polarization occurs along the orientation direction of collagen. The anisotropy of this polarization serves as an indicator of the degree of fiber orientation.
